It's a simple read, and has an underlying thread of hope and innocence that is largely lacking in comics anymore. I had most of the single issues, and this format makes it easy to just grab and read. I am a big fan of the entire "M2" line, and encourage anyone interested to also check out such titles as A-Next and Wildthing.

Great little paperback. Fun stories written before Marvel went into the garbage can.

I first read about J2 in the Avengers Next Comic. I really Enjoyed what I read, so I whent looking for this collection when i heard about it.
I was not disappointed Tom DeFalco is a excellent writer the stories are as good as what Stan Lee did.
Zane (J2) Yama Is very much the Marvel archtype young, smart, braver than they believe and honest.
Ron Lim's artwork is very good. There are a lot of guest-stars classic and new.
If you enjoy the Marvel Universe J2 will not disappoint.

While the MC2 setting didn't last long J2 was in my opinion one of the best characters to come out of it. Zane Yama (Marko) is the son of the original Juggernaut and one day discovers that he can change from his normal nerdy wimp body into a seven foot tall 1000lbs muscled powerhouse with most of his father's powers.

Zane looks and acts a lot like an early Peter Parker but with less angst as Zane learns how cool being a superhero can be, even with responsibilities and consequences for your actions. Besides, being nearly unstoppable still won't give you the courage to talk to the hottest girl in class or do your homework and a secret identity means that you can't outright pummel the school bully who gives you grief.

J2 is a great character and a lot of fun to read about no matter your age.
