"Lucy Cousins’s primary-color palette is tailor-made for a Christmastime book." — THE HORN BOOKIt’s Christmas Eve, and snow is falling everywhere — on Maisy’s house, on her friends’ houses, even on Eddie the elephant. Everyone’s making their way to Maisy’s house through the snow, with Cyril on snowshoes and Charley and Tallulah on a sled. It’s warm inside, and there’s plenty to do, decorating the tree, making mince pies, and wrapping presents. But wait — has anyone seen Eddie?

Great book for little ones. My 3 year old still adores this book, and loves Maisy. Fun bright pictures, and clear and easy to read story line. Great to toss in my purse for appts and such!

Maisy is so cute!

This is a fun secular Christmas book. Even as an adult I'm not bored by the storyline or pictures when reading it to my 5-month old son.

Maisy is incredibly popular in our house, and this is another hit. All of Maisy's friends are coming to her house for Christmas, but when Eddie doesn't show up, they head out into the snow looking for him. He has gotten stuck in a big pile of beautiful fresh snow, and only with the help of his friends can he get 'unstuck'. After various attempts at pulling him out, Maisy comes to the rescue with a tractor and a rope, and pulls him free. The friends all return to Maisy's house and celebrate the holiday together. It is a lovely little tale of friends helping friends at Christmas.
